AutoCAD/change autoCAD file'version 2006 to 2004

Hello,
I have a file that has been done by autoCAD2006. In my computer, I only have autoCAD2004. When I tired to open the file, autoCAD2004 wrote'Drawing file is not valid'. So could you tell me how can I change the file version2006 to version2004? Thanks a lot!

Visit Autodesk's website & install 'DWG True View'. This standalone software enables you to convert DWG files to newer or older versions of the DWG file formats.
