About Bob
Expertise
I am good at getting Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. PLEASE GIVE ME: 1- some background on you and your skills, and what field you are working in, so I can reply at your level and dont give architecture answers to an engineer 2- the reason you want to do what you are asking, so I will know I am helping you to get to a goal (maybe I have a better way to suggest) 3- the release of AutoCAD you are using 4- how much AutoCAD training you have taken THAT WAY -- your question will be easy to answer more clearly. Thanks, BOB

Experience
Interior Design and Space Planning. Autodesk U. 2000 and 2001.

Question
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IM TRAYED TO LOAD ADT FILES BUT THEY ARE MISSING.
WHEN I GO TO MENU LOAD AND LOAD ACAD I ONLY GET ACAD, CUSTOM , EXPRESS AND IMPRESSION BUT NO ADT. CAN I LOAD IT FROM SOME OTHER PLACE? CAN I REPLACE MY ACAD MNU FOR ONE TAHT HAVE ADT?

Answer
HI -- NICELY>>>> VERY hard to help people who dont give the full story, as asked in my profile.

Rather than guessing what you might have done, I will suggest that you simply do a repair installation (assuming you have the disk{s}---
This is easy, takes 1/2 hour or so, and makes sure things are right.
(unless you have some other software installed that modifies ADT)

CONTROL PANEL
CHANGE/REMOVE PROGRAMS
YOUR ADT
SELECT CHANGE -- you will get an option for a repair installation. If you are on a release that this applies to, be sure to check the box for CUSTOM installation, wheh that window opens, and be sure to install the Express Tools, as as well as creating an icon and profile for plain AutoCAD too, if you want that
(varies by release --- I think 2006 7 8 are that way)

Does that help?

BOB
