AutoCAD/Object selection

Question
I have a user that did something that only allows the user to select one object at a time. The user will select a lines, the line will highlite, then go to select a second line, and when that line is highlighted, the first will revert back. (un highlight.) The user must have changed a setting or something but I can't find it.
Thanks.

Answer
Hey Pete,

Go to your Tools menu pulldown, all the way at the bottom click on options, then go to the Selection tab.  In the bottom left corner, look and see if "Use Shift to add to selection" has a check in it.  If it does, uncheck it.

If your user can hold down the shift key and make multiple selections, chances are, this is how they have it set up.

How did it get switched?  Your guess is as good as mine.  I know the Noun/verb selection box is another tricky rascal that sometimes gets unchecked.  That will wreak havoc with users as well.

Let me know if that clears things up for you.
