AutoCAD/copy object along polyline

Question
I am a Landscape Designer in New Mexico and I need a lsp routine that will "copy objects along polyline" for both 2d and 3d drawing.  This is needed for fence board generation, deck board generation, bench and seat slats and pathway edging layout such as brick.  (I've tried using the measure and divide commands without success.)  Any help would be appreciated.
(*I've also checked CADALYST and other sources for an existing Autolisp routine without success...)
Thanks

Answer
I have Landscape Tools available.  You can see them on my website.  This will work for you.  You won't lose any attributes and it works with both regular and dynamic blocks.  It was very time consuming and difficult to write, so therefore it is one that I charge for.  It works on 3DPOLYLINES as well as 2D polylines splines, lines, and arcs.  Even circles.

Go to my website:

and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find a link to the routine you're looking for.  "Measure and Divide" are the key words.

Let me know what you decide.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
