Question
Hi Paul
I am an interior designer setting up in business and unfortunately only have access to R2002 - question of being able to open old dwgs. Anyhow, I want to set up my own title block complete with logo, etc. and cannot remeber how to do so - can you help please. Also anywhere I can get hold of the express tools with custom hatches as my version doesn't have them - very annoying.
Thanks for any input you can give me, much appreciated
Christina

Answer
Hi Christina,

You basically just need to create a drawing of what you want to be on your title block.  You can do it in PaperSpace and save it as a drawing by itself so you can import it into other drawings.

All of your work should be in ModelSpace and you'll import that into your PaperSpace Viewport.  All of your drawing work should be in the ModelSpace viewport and then you'll open up views in Paperspace and set the scale for the view in the viewport.

I have a copy of the old express tools and I'd be happy to send you a copy of the program that will install them on your version of Autocad.  It IS an .exe file so you'll have to be able to accept one of those.

Email me at kl0an@msn.com and I'll send it to you.  It's 2,715kb in size so it shouldn't be a problem to send it through email.

Hope that helps,

Paul
