Question
When i insert xref (which is modified from Arch. drawing)to a new drawing, my AutoCAD program just stop working. it happen just since today, and it happen several times today which drive me crazy. there is one thing is really weird that the xref drawing size is over 1000 KB, one of them is over 2000 KB. i don't know why that happen, but recently all drawing i did the size are over 500 KB which seems not normal.

Thanks for writing to AllExperts with your question, that's how I got started here, too.  Anyway, I'm afraid I can't answer your question since I'm a mechanical engineer and have my systems set up that way and don't do (or understand) architectural design and I never use xrefs in my work here in Utah.

Often, when I can't solve a problem, I just Google it to see what I can find. I may have to word the request in several different ways to find what I want.

I know this doesn't help you but it's the best I can do. Good luck in finding the answers you are looking for.
