Question
Hi, This is a simple question,  how large are .dwg files in general/avarage.  I am building a web site and need to build a form that attached .dwg files with a browser.  I just need to know what size they are likely to be

Answer
Simple drawings that have been purged can be as small as 100kb.  That rarely is the case though.  It really depends if there is any 3D work in the drawings.  I'd say if you allow yourself 5mb per drawing, you'll fare pretty well on 2D stuff.
