Question
What is meant by conventional drafting standards? Please reply me soon. I have to apply for job.

Answer
Conventional Drafting Standards can mean quite a few different things.  From using the proper layer standards to knowing how to draw a curb or a wall in elevation or detail.  It can also apply to dimensioning and how they look upon completion.

Most companies have a book of standards showing layer properties, fonts used, dimensioning standards, note standards and basically anything else that is put on a drawing.  The main goal is to make the drawings look uniform and professional instead of everyone using their own colors and fonts, etc.
