AutoCAD/Dimensioning both Metric and Imperial in the same drawing

Question
Is it possible to have both Imperial and Metric Dimension
on the drawing? This is very import as we build in feet and
inches in North America, and all our fixtures are
manufactured in the metric world!

Answer
Hi Vivian,

Take a look at the alternative units in your dimension styles.  Click the box that says "Display alternate units" and then (if it's not already set) change the Multiplier for alt units to 25.4.  That should add a metric dimension under your regular dimensions.  You can also put the mm suffix in after the dimension so they know it's metric.  It will be in parentheses  along with the dimension itself.

Hope that helps!
