Dear Bob,
My question is not strictly about an AutoCad program, but only re. the installation of an electronic circuit drawing program.
I have a program which should be installed in sections and I have made an error in this installation, therefore trying to remove the erroneous installation using "Add/Remove Programs", I receive a report such as: "You will have to un-install the previous version before installing this version"
"Add/Remove Programs" will not Remove the Program or a part of it that remains.
Could you kindly advise me how to remove and clear this part program?

Sorry, I am not an IT person, so this is definitely off my field, which is the USE of AutoCAD.

However, my experience tells me that you should contact the manufacturer of the program and/or look for online user forums or other resources in field of work you do. The fact that it won't remove is not rare. Someone who knows the tricks of that software may tell you to edit the Registry, may tell you to try installing the next part, or ???????????????????

Or a friend who is well versed in IT might help you.
