AutoCAD/FATAL ERROR

Question

ACAD ERROR 07.23.09
I am an Interior Designer working for a furniture dealership. We run AutoCAD 2008 on Vista, as well as 2020 Technologies CAP Designer. I get this fatal error when I am editing a custom part.
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 75fd42ebh.
Then AutoCAD wants to shut down. Thankfully, it will save a recovery copy.  But today it has happened at least a dozen times.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  (And no, this isn't the first time this has happened.)  :(

These problems can be next to impossible to solve without actually being there, but let me share a few things.

First, check this site out:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=11705514&linkID=92...
and see if the information therein will assist you in curing the problem.

Whether that takes care of the p;roblem or not I would still recommend that you obtain and run an anti-alware program as it is a common problem for people to let their computers go without scanning them for long periods of time causing an array of processes to build up and run in the background and install themselves in areas of the computers memory that AutoCAD is supposed to be using.  So, please scan your computer for viruses and malware.  Then it might be a good idea to run a repair reinstallation using the original installation disk and Control Panel;Add/Remove Programs;AutoCAD 2008;Change;Reinstsall or Repair AutoCAD 2008;Repair errors...
Let me know how it goes.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
