AutoCAD/Gas Linetype (Font not displaying correctly)

Question
Hi Bill, I use a Gas line type in a site plan that I reference into many other drawings. On some of these drawings, the linetype displays correctly. On others, the font (a "G") is extremely small and the font is not the same font.  I am trying to understand how I can fix this issue. Any help is very much appreciated!

Answer
Take a look at the code of my sewer line:
*SEWER,SEWER
A,.503121,-.491046,.333653,-.033329,["SS",NOTE,y=-.066667,s=.133333],-.249202

"SS" are the letters
NOTE is the name of the text style.
There is no mention of the font.
That means that the text style that you have mentioned in your linetype code, is defined differently in the suspect drawing, than it is in the drawing where it displays the way you want it to.  I would recommend changing the text style name already in the drawing to a different name, and starting a new text style of the old name and redefining it with the desired font and text size.  Of course, LTSCALE will also have an effect on text size in a linetype with text.  As obvious as that can be, sometimes it's a good idea to go ahead and state the obvious.

Let me know how it goes.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
