AutoCAD/Archstyl.shx font

Question
We are a small firm and have been using o4 up until now. We had to switch to 07 and soon to 10. Our main font style is the old Archstyl.shx. We can not get the autocad 07 to recognize it and therefore all of our text is changing to the default text style.
How can we change/add the Archstyl.shx font to the 07 font library?

Answer
Hi Mike,

Where have you moved the font to?

I am not sure about 09 but in 2010, they are located at: C:>Program Files>AutoCAD 2010>Fonts
I think I would throw them into c:>windows>fonts too just for good measure. If you do that it should be able to find them.  If it keeps fighting you it might be time to look at a new standard font. I know we would hate that too, because we have been using RomanS since we began ACAD over 20 years ago. (note that I can't use a back slash for some reason, so I used the > instead)

If this does not fix your problem I would be happy to try and take another run at it. Good Luck!
