Question
How can I make my AutoDesk 2006 run compatible with Windows Vista?

Answer
Hi Billy,

No good news...

AutoCAD does not run on Vista prior to ACAD 2007, Service Pack 1.

That being said, it seems like Vista might do something to help that out, but I don't see any easy solution at Microsofts website either. The one thing I did see, that had nothing to do with ACAD per se is that you want to be sure to install as administrator. Apparently Vista has real issues with that.

Here is Microsoft's site for Vista questions if you would like to try and dig deeper:

Sorry I can't be of more help to you! I think the real answer to your question is that the best way to make 2006 run with Vista is to upgrade.  =(
