AutoCAD - Dimension Problems

Expert: George Reid - 9/25/2009

Question
Hi George,
I am having a problem with my dimensions being visible when I attempt to dimension something in just one drawing that I have saved. All of my other drawings are OK. I've tried to compare settings in my bad drawing with my other drawings and I can't find a discrepancy. I feel like it has to be a setting issue but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I hope this is a clear description of my problem and I appreciate the help. I use ver. 2007.
Mike

Answer
Mike, You may have already solved this problem. When I experience something like I always look at the layers first. I may be on a layer that is turned off or somehow the dimension is set for the same color as the background.

I hope this helps.
