AutoCAD/Initiating Big Fonts

Question
I recently upgraded to Autocad 2010. When I open up my drawings, a font I have been using for years is no longer working. It is not a normal Autocad font, but it has been ok in previous versions for years. The drawings open ok, it is just that the particular font in question doesnt work. Someone said in this version of Autocad, I have to initiate the big fonts so they will work. I havent heard of this before, but is it true and how can I do this.

Thanks

Answer
Hey Richard,

I haven't used big fonts since probably R12 but, I did a search and found something about using them in 2010.  It doesn't say anything about initiating them but, it does show how to use them.  Take a look at this webpage:  http://docs.autodesk.com/ACD/2010/ENU/AutoCAD%202010%20User%20Documentation/inde... It's an Autodesk website and basically it's like a help file.  The page should open right to the section on using bigfonts.

I'm not saying you don't know how to use them but, more along the lines that Autodesk  may have changed the way you have to use them.  I guess you could call that initiating them.  You've probably been initiating them all along, just not the technique has changed.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help on this one.
