AutoCAD/PDF into Acad

Question
How can i insert or import a architectural PDF file into a auto cad drawing.
Thanks

Answer
The easiest way is to upgrade to Autocad 2010.  It's one of the new features on that release.  You can use snaps to recreate the lines, arcs, and circles and redraw it accurately.  There's still no way to convert a .pdf automatically to lines, arcs, and circles but, if you want to take the time and manually do it, it can be done in 2010.

I don't know of any other 3rd party programs that work as I've never really had a need to copy an architects drawing into my own.  I just ask them for the .dwg file and work with that.

You might also try using a screen capture program and saving it as a .jpg file which you can import into autocad and trace as needed.

Hope that helps,

Paul
