AutoCAD/Plot stamp character set in r14 (old-old-stuff)

Question
I have looked an answer up many times, but so far I have not been able to find a solution to my problem.
I have an r14 acad setup, running in XP, na d an HP 450 plotter.
Utilizing the hpconfig, I have many times tried to print file name and the rest of the file path, along with time and a company logo.
everything work well, aside from the file and path names, being written in Greek, since I am located and work in Athens, the print out as gibberish...
so here is the question.
Where do I go, what do I have to change in order to have the correct ASCII character and to print the name as it shows in my command line screen...
best regards

Dearangelo

R14 was a long time ago for me.  However, I am guessing at this point that what you have going on is the wrong font file in use for your plotstamp.  To make things easier check to see if you have a DDPLOTSTAMP command.  I know there is one in ACAD2000.  You can change your text properties using the Text Properties option of the command or the Advanced tab in DDPLOTSTAMP.  Further investigation leads me to believe that the PLOTSTAMP command didn't exist yet in R14.  If that's the case, there is yet another way.  It's RTEXT.  In is a Bonus Tool that had to be purchased during the time that R14 came out.  If you have bonus tools installed use the RTEXT command and be sure to use a font that is compatible with your language.  If you can select a different font in HPCONFIG, that might also be an answer for you.

Let me know how it goes.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
