AutoCAD/Migrating Tool Palettes to other computers

Question
Hi Bill
I'm working on some utilities to be run within the AutoCAD 2009. I want to deliver some Tool Palettes made on my machine to user's machines.

I'm aware of Exporting them and then importing on other computers, but I want to automate this process via some installer or LISP.

Is there any method to automatically import the exported tool palettes on user's machine?

Any LISP/VBA methods?

Thanks and best regards

Answer
I am a CAD manager, and supply LISP routines, block and customization to other PCs on our network.  I set up all the customization on each AutoCAD installation.  When I create or edit a routine or customization file or menu file, I send it to them automatically via a batch file that I wrote to check to see if each of the computers is online, and if it is, send the file to the folder where their customization files are located and overwrite what's there if there is already such a file in place.  If the PC is offline, A document file comes up and you write in that document the name of the file that you want to send to that PC at a later time when the PC is back online.  It is all activated by typing in a LISP command in AutoCAD.  It's a little complicated to set up, but once done, it's a huge timesaver.  That's the concept.  How does that sound?  Can you set it up?

Or another way:
Create a command to open up all the customization folders on all the computers all at once.  Then copy and paste the file to each of the client folders.

Keep in touch.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
