Question
Sir,
I m revit architect 09 user since last 2 years, but just now i m using this for interior design and i got one problem. when i m cutting section in my furniture (Table,Bed etc.)  i got elevation of this furniture. can u tell me how can i get furniture section ?

Answer
Shankar,

The furniture in Revit is made of components and families.  There are no sections that can be cut through them because they haven't been drawn when the part is created.  Basically, they're a box with cuts and reveals to make them look like furniture.  The actual internal parts aren't included in the families to make a section view possible.

Hope that helps,

Paul
