Question
Dear Paul,

I have just installed Autocad Architecture 2011 x64. After the software is launched, for some reason, when I click on any command of the tool palettes such as Wall under Design Tab, there is no response. I can use the 2d commands however but anything related to the parametric commands such as wall, door, window, etc do not respond. It appears the commands are launched but for some reason, these do not respond when I checked the command line. Prior to that, I had version 2010 and it worked fine.

I thank you beforehand for your help.

Answer
Dominique,

I haven't had a chance to look at anything for 2011 yet but, it sounds to me like you need to do a repair and see if that will fix your problems.  That's the first step I would try, after that would be a clean uninstall (Google Autocad Clean Uninstall and it will take you to an Autodesk website explaining the steps).

You might also talk to your reseller to see if he has any idea what's going on.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.  Usually doing a repair or clean uninstall is a lot faster than trying to troubleshoot millions of lines of code.
