Question
We are running ADT 2008 and plotting to an Oce' TDS400. At some point all of our solid shading with not plot shaded. It comes in as more of a pixilated or checkerboard look. Any ideas ??

Answer
Hi -- sorry, I am jammed up here.

First, PLEASE try to use the "agreed upon terms" so it is clear what you mean --
When you say "shaded" I have to judge whether you mean "hatching" or "screened".
I take it as hatch (shading is with a pen or pencil: hatching is AutoCAD).

And "at some point" means always? or does it mean "when I go to plot it, it always...."?

I know this may seem picky, but when I guess what you mean, I may be wrong, and not help you.

And -- if you plot to a pdf or plot a small area on the office letter size printer, do you get the same problem? (this isolates it to the Oce, not your drawing)

The first thing to do is to go to Oce's website, and be sure you have the correct drivers installed for 2008 --- you do not say how long you have had the plotter.

Another thing to do is to make a test plot with another plot style, to see what you get.

Ultimately, I would send you to the AutoCAD Plotting Forum, as there will be other people there with the same plotter and problem -- search for it.  They will have more specific experience than I. But please "talk in AutoCAD terms" for a clear, fast reply. Good luck
