AutoCAD/Macros AutoCadLT 2008

Question
I am rated expert in Excel and have an extensive macro library.
I have started a new job utilizing AutoCAD LT 2008 and immediately saw a need for repetitive operations to be automated.  The Macro documention in the HELP is sketchy at best.
I see you have mentioned Diesel & LISP.  Any Visual Basic work? This is a small portion of the job but I would like to speed up the monotonous procedures. Can you create a file that auto loads having the needed macros load as well?

Answer
David:
Can you be more specific and tell me what the task is that you want to do?  But remember AutoCAD LT does NOT respond to VBA or LISP without third-party software.  Custom toolbars and menu macros and Diesel are the best way to go with LT.  Repetition is pretty much the norm for AutoCAD LT without menu customization.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
