for layout
QUESTION: I have three layouts which i want to plot in single pdf.
For that I have selected all layouts, then option displays publsh selected layouts.
Then there is three options for publish something likes Publish to DWF, Publish to DWFx, Publish to Plotter..
I have selected publish to plotter, this dialog box has publish options also.
I have gone through this option, but file format & file type shows only DWF.
I have attached this image.
When i click publish, i got three separate files for each layout i.e. layout1 has layout1 pdf, layout2 has layout2 pdf etc.
I want single pdf from these three layouts.

Please advice

ANSWER: My PDF writer is a free downloaded one and it also writes one sheet at a time with AutoCAD.  So, I use PDFTOOLS from Sheelapps to join the pages into one document.  It works really well.  You can find it here:

QUESTION: Sir,
Can i get these pdfs from [Dwg to pdf.pc3] plotter.
Is there is any option.
Another is can we add page break in autocad files

Answer
Jyotsna:

Sorry I didn't see this question until now.

A PDF file acts just like a plotter.  It will only create one sheet at a time.  AutoCAD has no page break.  But it does have a Sheet set manager.  I recommend looking into that.  The PUBLISH command has no PDF options or capabilities.  That is why for me, PDFTOOLS is the preferred choice at this time.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
