Question
sir, plz tell me ,how we create a new drawing using template and how we close it. plz reply me as soon as possible.THANKS.

Answer
Farheen,

A template file can be created so that all your fonts, layers, linetypes, titleblocks, etc. can be in the drawing when you create a new drawing.

Set up a drawing the way you want it, then do a SaveAs and in the dialogue box that comes up, change the drawing format from .dwg to .dwt.

You can make this your default template in your options menus if you wish.

You should look at taking a basic class in Autocad to learn more about things like templates, pallettes, and other useful parts of the software.

Hope that helps,

Paul
