Question
QUESTION: I want to plot multiple layouts in single pdf.
there is option only for publish layout which gives dwf file, where i want only pdf file.
or is there page break command in auto-cad?

ANSWER: Jyotsna,

After you select your your sheets to plot, right click on the set, then click publish, then click on Sheet Set Publish Options.  There you will see the option to change both the file format as well as the Type.

QUESTION: Hello sir,

I want single pdf from that layouts, & file format is only for Dwf & Dwfx files.
If possible can add page break in auto-cad dwg.
Please help me.

ANSWER: When you right click on the sheet set files, do you see the word Publish?  Click on that and you should see something likes Publish to DWF, Publish to DWFx, Publish to PDF, Publish to Plotter..

If you see the Publish to PDF, it means you can publish it to PDF.  BEFORE you click that, move down in that list and select Sheet Set Publish Options as I mentioned in my previous response and follow the instructions I gave you then.

QUESTION: Sir,
I am using Auto-cad 2009.
When I right click on selected layouts, option displays Publish selected layouts. After clicking on that option there is only three options i.e.Publish to DWF, Publish to DWFx,Publish to Plotter..
Then i have selected Publish to Plotter..where i have putted dwg to pdf plotter in page set up manager.
but in publish options i can not see pdf option in file format & file type.
But yet i got pdf file, but in separate form i.e. layout1 has layout1 pdf, layout 2 has layout2 pdf.
which i want in single pdf.
I have attached dwg file with this.
Please advice.

Answer
If you have dwg to pdf as your plotter in your page setups, it should plot to a pdf.  It should plot all your layouts to individual pdf files the way you have it set in your image.

When you right click on the sheet(s) you want to publish, click on Publish, then click on Publish using page setup overrides.  That should send it to the pdf file and if you have individual pdf's set up like you do in that image, it should make all the layouts individual pdf files.  If you want all the layouts in one .pdf file, change the value you have selected in your publish options in that image.

Hope that helps,

Paul
