Question
Hello.
I´m a CAD user and I have a problem with all the files I´m working with.
Everytime I want to copy elements from file to file I read this on the command space:
"_pasteclip Duplicate definition of block_ Oblique ignored"

If you could please help me!
Thanks in advance!!

Answer
Hi POLITELY, TO ANYONE READING THIS... I keep trying to say this... sorry.
PLEASE GIVE THE RELEASE # OF AUTOCAD, YOUR EXPERIENCE LEVEL, AND THE PURPOSE
--- and please note that AutoCAD is just one of dozens of CAD programs -- be specific

Marga -- if you are copying blocks -- you do not say -- there may be a "nested block" called Oblique in the blocks you copy.
You do not say if the copying is working for you -- is it?
Do you get a good copy or a bad one?
Are the old drawings made by you or by another place?

I cant answer without knowing more

If you have AutoCAD 2005 or newer, there is a good Block Editor you can use. Just doubleclick on the block, unless you have disabled the feature.

Ten or fifteen years ago, people kept blocks in an old drawing and copied them. Now, there are many preferred ways to do it

Write back and be SPECIFIC for better help, please

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
