Question
I have tried everything I can think of, with the help of some colleagues, and cannot seem to figure out why my dashed polyline in Model Space (with a global width) shows up in my viewport as only an outline of the actual line. The line in question is x-referenced into the drawing I am working in. Why is this and how can I fix it? Hope you can shed some light...

Answer
I suspect one of 3 possibilities:

1. Fillmode is off (0)
2. The viewport view is not perpendicular to your polyline in model space.
3. The viewport is corrupt.

I will guess it is number 3.  Start by running an AUDIT, to see if it helps.  Next action is to create a new viewport where the old VP is, and use Express Tool VPSYNC to synchronize the new to the old one, and delete the old VP.

Let me know if this helps.
