AutoCAD/Exploding blocks

Question
I received a floor plan from a client. The exterior walls are one block and the interior walls are another block. To make them conform to my company's standards, I need to explode the block. When I explode either block, entire walls and doors disappear from the drawing. I cannot find any answer as to why this happens. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
It is possible that your drawing still has the objects in question, but the layer(s) is off or frozen.

Check your drawing layers status to see if this is indeed the case.

You can also select a block, right click it, and choose Block Editor.  Here, you can modify the objects within your block, such as layer, line type, etc. etc.

You can also try BURST instead of explode and see if that yields any better results.
