Question
somehow i changed my doubleclick mode within a drawing.  where the drawing previously would allow double click editing into the appropriate editor (ie. text editor, atteditor, hatch editor, etc.) it now does not, i checked the doubleclick mode for the drawing and it is on, somehow a global ACAD variable has changed and now double click is off for all drawings i open.  is there another system variable that controls doubleclick editing that i am missing.

thanks steve.

Answer
Steve,

My apologies for the delay. To fix the problem, ensure your PICKFIRST variable is set to 1. Normally, located under Tools menu/Options/Selection/Noun/verb selection - this changes the system variable. Additionally, check your BLOCKEDITLOCK variable & set to 0. Hope this helps, let me know!
