AutoCAD/ADT

Question
Hi! Aloha is back!  :-)
I didn't read your note completely and installed ADT expecting to be able to make it run as AutoCad2007.
Here is your reply, ">Hi -- ALOHA!!

I didn't create the AutoCad profile expecting to be able do it after installation. Actually I don't remember them offering me the choice of custom, but I suppose I just missed it.

Now I have another question. Do I have to uninstall it or is there some way to create the profile after installing ADT?

I downloaded a bunch of tutorials and am starting to use them, however in the very first tutorial they use a toolbar that my ADT doesn't have... :-/  It is missing 'modeling'. My toolbar list goes from 'maping' to 'modify'. hmmmm.

Thanks Bob, sorry to bother you again. I should have followed your directions, although I do want to learn 3D.

Aloha again,
Jim  :-)

Answer
Hi --
Go to Control Panel, add and remove programs, choose ADT, then choose repair installation.  I believe you will again get the choice of Custom -- watch carefully.
If not, uninstall and re-install.
If the tutorial is on 2007 3D, there may be another name for the toolbar in ADT, or it may be in a menu, or the Dashboard.  Unfortunately, I have not been using it.

I very strongly suggest you do AutoCAD tutorials in straight Acad only.

Aloha again! and congratulations.
