i have express tools folder in my AutoCAD directory. how can i load that into my CAD 2006.

Hi -- DO NOT LOAD OLD EXPRESS TOOLS if you have them from before.

For 2006, they are on the disc with the program. On that release, it was not obvious during installation.
One chooses CUSTOM INSTALLATION, then the option to install the express tools comes up, and you check a box.

You can go to change/remove programs, select Acad 2006, choose change, then a dialog will come up to select a repair installation --- then watch for the above.  You need the disc.

If you have an illegal copy that someone made and it does not include the express tools --- still do not mess with the old ones, because all customization, toolbars, etc, changed for 2006.
