Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me..I have never used Autocad before,I have the document open, its an office layout..all I need to do is enter in a blank space on the document  "Main Office"  thats it..can you tell me step by step how to do that?..
Ps:I need to choose the font and colour as well..Cheers!!

Hi -- bad boy, you dont give the AutoCAD release, but this is general.....

Type MTEXT and follow the prompts to draw a text box.  The mtext editor will open  (better in 2005 onward)
You type, then highlight the text and change font, height, color. Zoom in by rolling the wheel on the mouse if you cant see it.
If you are in Model space, the text has to be bigger -- for printing at 1/8" = 1'0", you need the type 96 times the height you want on the print. (8 times 12)
If you add text in a layout, use true size.
