Question
I'm working in feet and inches in AutoCAD version 2006. I want to draw a line 6' and 3" for example. Isn't there a way to input feet and inches without having to convert it before hand with a calculator? I thought I used to put in @6'-3"<0 and now it doesn't work.

Answer
Cox,

What units is your drawing currently set at? Ensure your drawing units (units command) is set to 'Architectural'. Additionally, use can use 'Polar Tracking' (dsettings command) to make drawing lines/polylines a lot easier. Hope this helps, let me know.
