Question
In this program, how do I make a plan for the foundation usung the measurements and scale? I can draw the plan and do the linear dimensions, however I can not figure out how to make the measurements of the lines pop up at all.

Answer
marcelino, typically in autocad you draw 1:1 scale in modelspace. then you define your scaling in paperspace thru use of viewports. you can easily see the properties of line entities thru object properties (by invoking CTRL + 1). this tells you length, location in relation to your origin (0,0), layer name, etc.

to create your lines, you can use distance@angle convention. for full documentation of this command, use F1.
