Answer
Hi -- I hope you understand that I am here to help with problems USING AutoCAD, and installation woes are not my focus, but I will point you toward finding a solution.
Here, you ask why you get that error message, but you omit
1-- specs on your computer, other than the OS  - including any other programs, AutoCAD customization, etc, that might be "disagreeing" on SP2.
2-- you do not say whether AutoCAD is working or not -- do you get the error message after using it successfully, or you get the message and AutoCCAD is broken?
If it is working, I would ignore the error, considering that R14 is ten years old, and a current OS may just be an imperfect fit.
If it is NOT working, please go to the Autodesk Discussion group, and post a more complete question. There you will find people who still use R14 and may be familiar with the issue -- here is a link__________http://discussion.autodesk.com/forum.jspa?forumID=15_________
Good luck.
