Question
Hi,
I have AutoCad 2002 and want to copy a drawing into pdf format so a friend can look at it with his Adobe Acrobat Reader. I've looked in the help section and have made a new plotter file but it makes a file with the extension .esp which, of course, can't be read by Acrobat...   :-(
Can you help me?
Thanks a lot!

Answer
Hi-- You want to plot to a .pdf  -- everyone says copy or save, but it is plot.
Just download a free utility such as PDF995 from the internet, and you will have a pdf plotter.
Autodesk wants you to use DWFs, and have your friend download the free Autodesk Viewer-- which is definitely better, if you will read up on the Autodesk website.

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
