AutoCAD/Blocks, removing from Make list.

Question
I know how to create a block and see it listed for reuse from the make block pull-down list but how do I delete it from that list. Say I created it wrong and want to get rid of it. I can erase it from the print I put it in, easy enough. But,
I can't seem to find anything that explains how to preform that delete function from the List of blocks. Applys to versions R14 and above.
Thanks for helping, Bill.

Answer
Bill:
When there are no references in the drawing to the block name, neither as a nested block or a simple, inserted block, it can be purged with the purge or -purge command.
If it exists in the drawing database, it cannot be purged.  Nested blocks are difficult to find, so purge won't always display the block as ready for purging.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
