Question
Two questions: my partner just bought autocad 2007 Lt and when he plots everything except the heavy title block lines, the drawing title text and the dimension ticks are extremely light. He uses aclt.ctb to print and checks "scale lineweights". Before he had autocad 2001 lt and worked fin. Why is this happening? Also, sometimes when I try to copy with base point or make a block of something and then try to insert it nothing happens and in the command line it says "pasteclip". What's going on?

Answer
Hi -- sorry, very busy. Quick stab at reply:

1-- he has a different setting someplace.  Does using Monochrome produce an acceptable plot?  Time to read a good book on the subject.   You dont even tell me if he is plotting from model space  (as someone using an old release might have done)
2-- I hope you are not using copy to clipboaed in model space of a drawing, but copy selection  (different and correct command. No inserting, no pasting.
I cant figure out what you are doing wrong with the block. If you write back exactly what you are doing, I will reply on Sunday.
Thanks
