AutoCAD/CONCERNS BUILDING SYSTEMS 2005

QuestionNOT SURE IF YOU CAN ANSWER BS 2005 ?'S BUT I'LL GIVE IT A GO.
I CREATED SOME OBJECTS AND WHEN I PLACE THEM IN THE DWG THEY SHOW THE CENTERLINES. I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN THEM OFF BUT JUST CAN'T FIND IT.
AnswerHi-- I dont have Building Systems, but it is a relative of Architectural Desktop. In all that stuff, there is a way to turn various components' display off.
First, if the cehterlines dont print, do you need to turn them off?
Second, the way to Sherlock out this stuff is by poking throught the context menus (right click when an item is highlighted). If you have turned the context menus off in favor of some other use for right-clicks, stand in the corner (or at least go back to plain AutoCAD). If you are not familiar with them, stop and learn, as they are essential to modern use of AutoCAD and its verticals.
Or really first, is there no series of tutorials for the product? People make the mistake of not learning the latest AutoCAD thoroughly, or of not learning ADT thoroughly, but just jump into the advanced stuff that is based on them. (I dont know you, cant say you are or are not.)
Autodesk fails to make that clear. Buy Mastering ADT 2004 by Aubin-- most of it is still true.
Hope this helps.
