AutoCAD/Click wheel no longer works to pan

Question
I've done something and now I cannot depress the click wheel to pan around the drawing and it is driving me crazy.  It still works to zoom in and out, I just can't "grab" with it.  Any ideas?  I'm using AutoCAD 2007.

MBUTTONPAN?  (I forget if zero or one is the one you need, try both) Did you mess with any settings in OPTIONS?

MORE LIKELY:  I have seen Windows have "moods" on this, so go to CONTROL PANEL >> MOUSE  -- be sure it has the correct mouse pictured.  Enable program specific settings.  You will probably have to click the TROUBLESHOOT button, follow the steps, and find that Windows changed its mind back.
