Hallo, I am Spyros from Greece! Acad 2000
Sometimes the cursor changes, and the middle square looks like if it is streched and is no longer a quadrant. If I close the project and I open it again sometimes the problem goes away.
What can I do please ?(it is very annoying)

Hello from California! I would say the most likely problem is with your video card or mouse drivers: have you downloaded the latest drivers? (check websites of the makers) Autocad 2000 should work fine with an 8 meg card and 256 ram memory, although a new, fast system becomes very important with 3D and shading. I myself do not use a large square for the cursor, or large crosshairs, but we can assume they put more strain on the memory and video card when being moved. Try using a diferent brand or style of mouse, for a test. Also be sure you have defragged and used scandisc regularly, as a clean disc promotes easier, faster work.Good luck.  Bob
