Question
I have drawn a plan in feet and inches.  I want to now dimension it in metric because the plan is going to be built in Costa Rica.  Can this be done, and if so, how?  Thanks

AutoCAD 2000

Answer
Nick,

If your current drawing scale is 1:1 (1'=1'), then scale all linework to 25.4.  Modify your Dim Style thru the ddim command & change 'Overall Scale' under the Fit tab. Stretch any overlapping dimensions. Hope this helps, let me know!
