Expert: Bob - 8/14/2004

Question
I'm using Windows XP fore Home and installed autocad map 2000i on it. For some reason, I cannot set the default open drawing format to list instead of preview. I reset it in the rest of the windows applications to work fine, but it just won't work in Autocad. Probably something simple, but its going to make me crazy soon. Oh well. No one will notice.

Hi -- Honest, I answered this a few days ago as best I could, but obviously the server does not think so -- LOL
--Sorry I have never run into this -- but AutoCAD Help should get you there, if you bat around long enough in it --Caveat: some of the verticals (ADT, etc.) have confusing HELP because some of the questions go to AutoCAD standard replies, some to new topics meant for the vertical. The foremats are not always the same, and some of the Acad help in newer releases is left over from 2000.
Keep looking, or check any good Autocad book you have -- sorry I dont have time to research it this week.
