Architectural Desktop 2006
I am making a custom toolbar & i added alot of tools.
The problem is some of my tools are missing.
When i try to filter some like,Tools,Draw & modify the box is empty.Others
work fine.
How do i get the above to appear so i can add those tools ?
Answer -
In 2006, even experts are beginners when messing with menus, so don't feel bad.  The new CUI menus are a little strange.  One clue is to make sure you are editing the menu while under the workspace you will be working in once you are out of the CUI editor.  I hope that makes sense.  The menu under one workspace won't look like the menu in another workspace.

If you still can't get it after investigating the clue I gave you, write again, and I will help you some more.

How can i fix this?

I do see one problem off the bat.  Fortunately, I use ADT also, so I might be of some help.  The problem that I see is that ACAD.CUI is not supposed to be loaded if you use ADT.  If you are using ADT as "Vanilla" AutoCAD, then you need to unload ADT.CUI.  If you use ADT functions, then need to unload ACAD.CUI.

I hope this helps

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
