AutoCAD/Plotting pen weights

Question
I have two seperate files that I am plotting in paper space.  Each File xrefs the same base file and titleblock sheet.  The first plots and does not recognize the color/pen weights defined by the ctb pen table.  The second plots and does recognize the pen wieghts defined by the colors in the same ctb pen table.  How do I fix this so the first file plots recognizing the pen table?

Mark:
You ALWAYS need to tell me what version you are running.  It can often make a difference.  I'm going to guess your plot dialog has a checkbox in it that says: "Plot with Plot styles".  Plot styles are the CTB files, basically.  That's why when you go to Files; Plot Styles Manager or when you just type _STYLESMANAGER, you get the folder where the CTB files are.  Make sure the checkbox has a check mark in it and try again.  Get back to me if it still doesn't work.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
