Question
You mentioned presentation in your blurb, and i am struggling at the moment, i am using Autocad 2004 and wishing to import it into freehand mx, or illustrator or photoshop, but whenever i import the detail is seriously lost, with layers crossing one another etc. what is the Best way to import autocad into another program?

Answer
HI--
Your problem is your assumption that the dwg should be imported.  Generally, when you want AutoCAD drawings to use in a raster program, you PLOT.  Have never heard of the first program. For the Adobe programs, you need to plot to a high-quality jpg and open THAT.
There are places to read about this online -- try "autocad to illustrator" for instance, into Google and see what you get.
I hope this helps. By the way, you CAN import the Acad drawing into other vector programs, generally, or open it in them. Not so with programs that are for images.
