AutoCAD/Projected image

Question
I am trying to transpose an image TO SCALE directly from AUTOCAD to a projector to project a TO SCALE image to the wall.  Is there anyway I can select a window of an image and send this image to the projector?

Answer
HMMMMMMM
Well, first, do you mean an image inserted into AutoCAD, such as a site photo. or a logo?  Or do you mean part of a drawing?
The drawing becomes an image when you project it, not until then, unless you have printed it and are using an overhead projector.
You dont give me your own experience with AutoCAD, so I cant give any advice related directly to you.
One can certainly take part of a drawing and make it into an image, scaled, with a litle experience -- in printing, but I think you mean you want to
___project an image of all orpart of an AutoCAD drawing on the wall at a chosen scale ______

What throws me is the part about projecting it on the wall.  In that case, the scale would have to do with the projector lens and the distance

And of course, all AutoCAD drawings are full sized. If you are using layouts, the drawing appears to be scaled.

Best advice -- draw on the wall 4 Xs to represent a box standing for  the drawn object at the desired scale (ie -- a 100'square building would be 5' square at a scale of 1:20. -- or 4'3" square at a scale of 1/2" = 1'-0")
Then adjust the AutoCAD zoom until the object fits when projected.
If you are projecting a scaled layout, not the full sized drawing, calculate the size needed.

And do this ONLY for demonstration purposes  -- the projection is going to distort slightly.  If you want something accurate to put up on the wall and measure precisely, have the drawing plotted on paper at larger scale.
Did I get it?  Or did you want something else, and I missed it. Let me know -- but write a background paragraph and give the reasons for all this, so I am not guessing
Good luck

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
