Question
Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way to lock the area of a rectangle so that when I play with the length of the rectangle, the width will compensate for the area lost or gained and vise versa?

Answer
Autocad does not have this parametric like functionality however, this can be probably achieved thru programming in VBA (of which im not very well versed). The coding might be a bit tricky since the complex nature of updating the objects vs. data in real time. Perhaps the other guys @ allexperts can offer some insight or resource for the VBA programming.

Regards,
J.B.
