AutoCAD/Render & Dimensioning

Question
1) Autocad 2004 education version

I made a 3D room and gave a color on the surface using 'Render' and gave the dimensions of the room.
But I can't see the dimensions in the printing paer after I gave a color. I think the background covers the dimension and text. Is there any way I can see the dimension and color at the same time?
Thanks.

Answer
Hello Jay-- Dimension in the Layout (paper space) to avoid this. In my opinion, AutoCAD does not attempt to show text in  a rendered view, as real-world drawings are not generally that way, so there is little call for it.
Good luck -- keep going!
